Ausgrid Somersby Warehouse & Distribution Centre

Ausgrid’s main distribution centre included the reconstruction of a 24,000m2 warehouse facility and 18,000m2 of external hardstand storage. The warehouse is served by a 30m wide 32 tonne crane running the entire 200m length of the building.

The facility also houses 1,200m2 of office space and various amenities to accommodate the staff. In addition, the facility accommodates 20,000m2 of racking. Linked’s innovation saved $6m in steel costs with the introduction of a mobile gantry within the warehouse.
