SEA LIFE XTREME Shark Dive

Following the closure of the highly popular Extreme Shark Dive at Manly SEA LIFE Aquarium, Merlin Entertainments engaged Linked to deliver a new and elevated dive experience within their flagship Darling Harbour attraction.

The challenge was substantial: the new encounter needed to be constructed within Tank 1—the large floating aquarium at the centre of the venue—while the facility remained fully operational and inhabited by sharks, turtles, stingrays and a diverse range of marine life.

Working in such a dynamic, live environment required meticulous planning, extensive risk management and precise coordination. Linked led the project in close partnership with Merlin and a team of specialist industry experts to safely deliver the works with minimal disruption to daily operations or animal welfare.

Once again, Linked transformed an ambitious brief into reality—creating a unique underwater experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional exhibit delivery. The result is a fully immersive dive encounter that strengthens Merlin’s reputation for world-class, interactive visitor attractions.
