To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the iconic Ensemble Theatre engaged Linked to deliver a major refurbishment of its two-level restaurant and bar, revitalising the venue while preserving its heritage character. Working to a fixed program, the project was completed in time for the 2019 season launch, which featured some of Australia’s leading performers.

The refreshed space offers a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall patron experience while improving functionality behind the scenes.

Delivered in a live environment, the project required detailed planning and close coordination to avoid disruption to daily theatre operations. All 72 performances continued without interruption throughout construction – a result achieved through tight stakeholder engagement and a carefully staged delivery strategy. The project reflects Linked’s ability to manage complex works in sensitive, operational settings without compromising quality or program.
